“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible”
–Matthew 19:26

I’ve mentioned the idea that what we perceive as reality is really the construct, the fiction, the “play” or “movie” that we make up as we go along.  I got this concept from Richard Bach, but it makes a lot of sense to me, and what I’ve learned and experienced seems to bear this out.

Granted this concept, that what seems real is really just imaginary, and that the Spiritual existence is what is really real, then the verse mentioned above begins to make sense.  If “reality” is just a construct, then it makes sense that things that play by the rules of the construct could be “impossible,” while things that play by the REAL reality would abide by a whole different set of rules.  What is true in the material “reality” is just made up.  It’s a game we play.  What is true in Spirit over-rides materiality.  In Spirit anything is possible.  Anything.

So, people who learn to live their lives with a true connection to Spirit begin to find that all things are possible, because they are no longer playing by material rules.  Take for example Jesus’ miracles.  Others I know call it “manifesting” or “postulating” – the act of doing or creating the “impossible.”  Jesus called that understanding of what it means to be Spiritual by the term “Faith.”  But it’s really just a conscious understanding of the difference between material existence and Spiritual existence.  Materiality is the construct, the fiction.  Spirituality is the truth.
